I've used e-go about half a dozen times. e-go subcontract their freight to other companies as do transdirect (I think). So it could end up going with the same company in both cases!
e-go provide crap service if your item goes missing (I suppose other companies might go to a bit more effort to call around at the depots en-route to try and find your item). but unless you use something like AAE it's probably going to get handled in a similar way... e-go is really cheap if you can use depot-depot.
