where"s a good spot to sail in the winter around perth area , iam sure there is a lot of good spots undiscovered

i think my fav spot would have to be the gold coast for winter , a bit of a drive but there is cheep beer and cigs

unfortunately mate I think you know them all already!
basically:
-Dutchies on a NW or SW (the best ever wave sessions at Dutchies are in winter)
-Crazy waves for all the W, WNW winds (and you need at least 1-1.5m at Cott buoy to have a fun wave there).

And then further south: Rockingham(Long Point,
Point Peron) for NW and WNW, and Mandurah for WSW and SW.

I always though too that they should be undiscovered spots, but there isn't really

So what about flat water spots, other than the spots in the Swan river?

any of the northern reefs 2kms out on a nice sunny strong easterly with a big winter swell, for some D.T.L action..........

i was sitting on the dog beach, watching the A frames this morning thinking how good it would be............ if i had a spare $100k for a nice big boat for trips out to the action.

You guys are so lucky to live in WA or QLD, I went out the other day in Port Phillip bay and froze my balls off!
Melbourne is horrible in the winter, not much wind and cold as.
