came up with some ideas about what to use the thousands of dollars worth of gear in the garage for when there is no wind.

1.saw the 430 wave mast into 4 equal lengths and fix them to the underside of the formaula board for a great designer dining table.

2. string the seat harness up to a tree for a new kids swing.

3. the 550 mast makes a great surf rod, just remeber to glue the 2 halves together before casting.

4. wave fins can be used as boomerangs

5. those thousand dollar race sails can be restitched to make a tent.

6. carbon booms make great familly dog obstacle courses.

7. turn your wave board upside down and it is a superb slippery slide.

8. slalom fins aren't called blades for no reason, use them in the kitchen where they belong.

9. as the tent has been made the sail battens should be used as garden stakes.

10. board bags make great sleeping bags to accompany the tent.

a mate of mine on the sunny coast has turned his into carbon mast extensions... they work brilliantly.

so do you use your rdm masts as rods in your beach holders?

Cut your steamer in half.
Wear the top half back to front as a stylish bomber jacket and the bottom half as matching drainpipe trousers. (Tape freeride fins to your shins to hold out the bottom of the legs if you prefer flares)

The tip of a skinny mast can be trimmed down and used as a walking cane to compliment your new suit.

Completely encase your van in concrete and park it in the front garden as an 'avant garde' modern art installation.

You'll be the talk of the town

old 1 piece masts,a few hose clamps and a bow saw make it easy to prune trees,if you use 2 masts (telescopic) you can get the really high branches. very heavy though.

Just lay it crossways in front of the front wheels and drive up on top of it. Gives you an extra 6 inches of height to get under the car.
