Thanks ...it's a big lake out there .15-18 knots .this day ,but clean wind .

we sail out to the outer island too which is 4 mile .15 minutes round trip on a good day .
but prefer to ride the swell ,it does break here ,and have been out in 10-12 foot swell , just as well
you can out run them on a windsurfer .
its scary when its big ,but the heart is pumping .and its only swell .
sorry so short ,Internet slow here ,

I bring my 5mm steamer. Sounds like N.I. gets icey in winter.

We had a 12 c once .
the wind from the south at 25-30 knots in winter ...you know what it's like
on the bright side water never gets below 19.

We? How many resident sailors out there. Looks pretty good. Can you always find an onshore breeze that isn't at the base of a precipitous cliff? looks a bit exposed out there, easy to out run the beachy shoreline I'd imagine?

only 6 left .and no, not beginner friendly .
you need all your skills ..to ocean sail here .but its great fun,
do have months where you have no sailing .
because of the wrong direction.it can be crap waiting .
