hi, was curious if anyone has any ideas for a wavesailing. there is the obvious choice of maui but wondering if there is anywhere else cheaper to get to with consistant wind and waves betwwen july & augest.

Maui IS the obvious choice, especially since it's pretty easy and cheap to get to on Jetstar, plus there is no need to take your own gear as the hire choices are awesome.

On the downside, there are not a helluva lot of waves in July / August - just windswell really, but there is an almost constant supply of massive breeze. 30-35 knots is an average day.

Whats the story with breaking hire gear? Can you take out insurance or whatever?
