Just wondering if anyone has seen the amended wellington point master plan that council will be voting on soon...??

i saw the old one and it was suggesting the removal of the western parking bays that we all use.....

my understanding is that our kite buddies were involved in talks about what should happen and the plan in the local paper shows the western parking bays being left where they are.....so i assume the kiters had a win....


anyone know ???

while on the point of council works,,, victoria point is about to get a makeover. the interesting note is the adding of sand either side of the existing boatramp plus some work near the existing trminal.... this may open a couple of new launch spots...

a trick in the industry when you want to move certain groups on that are not welcome is to redevelop.

the 2003 plan concerns me greatly.... it is a very very poor design....

the plan in the paper is ok. because they are leaving things the way they are generally speaking.

yes agree, wello is in major need of more parking.

It is the eastern side development that concerns me and in particular the parking design. but i will have to wait until i see the amended plans.....

i agree that only adding in another 10 spaces seem a waste of time.
