what about Freestyle

want to try freestyle but can't afford freestyle board. My dad recons i could pull off a few moves on a Prokids S-type (current board) and 2001 North instinct. Im talking jumps here not low wind freestyle. Ignore the daddy cool post i got mixed up with my dads name

If you cant afford a freestyle board get the smallest freestyle fin you think you can handle. Even chop down an old wave fin for the super cheap option. It makes all the spinny slidey tricks heaps easier to learn.

You will probably be ok on the S-type to start with if you move your straps inboard, single strap at back and chuck on a smaller fin. The instict is a wave sail from memory so that will be sweet. It will not be the ideal setup as a freestyle or freestyle wave board would be much better but while you work on your dad you might as well make the most of what you have..
