That's the trouble with all these different forums, I found it much easier when there was only a couple.
Personally I blame greenroom.

Yep agree, its lost a bit since we split the States up into divisions. The general section lost a lot of banter/drive and fun about it.

Think Greenroom is in enough trouble with the Fun Police lately to give a toss[}:)]

Initially I thought having the state forums was good idea. Seeing different threads of the same subject, "The Train or Shearwater", got a bit annoying.

However something like customs doesn't have to be about wavesailing does it? Plenty of people use waveboards on flatish water when the wind is howling. The wavesailing forum is a bad idea coz sometimes its hard to judge where the flat ends and the wave begins.

and now you've realised that deep down inside, part of you really wants to read those threads, and you want them back yes?

Yes. (Yes, I know I'm not Moby). Whenever you break up into smaller and smaller groups you lose some of the interchange that makes a forum interesting. A good example is the Boards forum. I often go there. I generally only read the general and equipment sections as they are the most populated and I'm more likely going to find something interesting.

So should we ask Laurie for a vote on what forums we want, and what should be discarded????

Not really. I lived on the Gold Coast for a while. First at Southport and then at Biggera Waters, in Brighton Street. The answer was and always will be The Train.

Unless I carried my gear down to the Broadwater. The answer then was somewhere in the middle.

We need to amalgate a few forums.

Personally I blame the addition of the gps forum for the split
Do you really think I caused the split? Just because I was speaking up?
Im not the only one who uses these forums. There are hundreds of other people here.
IMO these forums have never been better
If you want to read about waves... go to waves.
If you want to read about speed... go to gps.
If you want to go to Shearwater or the Train (Who would?)... then go to Qld
Is surfing the same as SUPing?
Imagine sifting through that if it was one forum

if we were to use the economic model of cows the only valid forum is the gps forum.

it is certainly the most popular on a market percentage point.

Do you think it a coincidence that when you and one or two others left this forum for the other one, because that has multiple forums, Laurie suddenly changed his mind and did the same here??

And then strangely you haven't been heard of on the other forum.

Yeah Greeny you have to wear it this time.
ALL your fault!!!!!!!
