Roof Plumber- You start early ,finish early.Stop work when it gets too windy.Are at your busiest in winter reparing leaking roofs and gutters.It is easy to subcontract so you can p#*s off when it suits you.BUT its hard work(keeps you fit).

if your young like me, night stacekr around 150 a week, and never work during the day

It's over rated, hot days laying white or zink sheets gets you hell sun burnt and dark sheets fry your ars3. I've slid down sheets when the soles of my boots have melted and not to mention hitting my thumb on the cold days.

I had a mate who worked for cannon copiers. They gave him a nice wagon to fill with gear and a fuel card so he could get it around for free.

The only problem was that it had big red signage on its side so you could always tell when he was bludging time off work to sail.

He no longer works there....

Might be a short term plan. On ya Markie Mark, welcome back to Brissy, looking forward to seeing you back on the water once you get all those moths out of your gear.

If windsurfing is gonna be your main passion in life, then long term you have to aim to work for yourself, then you set your own hours.

Work??? What exactly is that. I now have to go windsurfing to fill in my weekdays.

Might work for some....

Although, in most cases I know - being self-employed = if not working = not getting the job done = no incoming dollars = no money for gear/holidays = not much fun.....if you can do it though, possibly the best scenario is a self-employed roof plumber!!! can't possibly screw that up, unless you fall-off

Crap working foryourself, Done that, Plumber (inc roofs), Builders on your back, customers on your back, phone never stops, every frgin Gov dept with their hand in your pocket, now I work for 1 builder, no customers, tax paid, I do my job well and quickly so if its blowin the boss knows where I'll be, lifes never been better, completly stress free.
Unfortunatley it took a lot of years to work this out.
