Hi Boys. I am looking at freighting some windsurf sails from Adleaide to Sydney. Does anyone know any reasonably priced companys.

Cheers

I've used Pack and Send before when freighting a sail from Queensland to Sydney. I also used them when in business and needed goods to be sent interstate. I can't comment on their rates as I didn't compare their charges to other companies but their service and communication was very good.

Pack N Send are horribly expensive. You are paying for a box, bubble wrap/foam peanuts etc and labour to pack it.
A sail can go as-is as long as it is top loaded so doesn't get crushed. If you're not happy with that you can find a box at a hardware store / supermarket etc for free.

In my experience all other couriers will be cheaper than packnsend, and will be priced pretty similar to each other, vicinity of $40-$50 for a sail

Some guys say Greyhound (as in coaches) was well priced as they chuck it in with the luggage under the bus and it is a lot cheaper

Transdirect are pretty good. Used them a couple of times this year to get gear from WA to NSW. Quotes, payments and all organisation are done online.

Did you guys have to box/package the sails or were you able to get them top loaded?
