Freesail is no longer being published. Apparently there wasn't enough support from retails/ manufacturers in the form of advertising.

The other mag out is called Windsurf & Kite. It's an NZ magazine and mainly reports on what happens over there.

Your best bet at the moment for OZ content are online magazines (in no particular order):

- www.ozwindsurf.com.au (updated once in a blue moon)
- www.|.com.au (used to do an subscription only oz online windsurf mag, got put on hold due to lack of people willing to pay)

other sites with news:

- www.windsurfing.org

they did and it turned into nearly all kite content as that was the flavour of the time back then. It just died from there on.
We used to have heaps of OZ mags AB Sailbords, Sail Wind Quarterly, Freesail. All perished.

I guess this goes hand in hand with the shrinking windsurf market here in OZ.

Very different situation in Europe. Germany alone now has 4 windsurf magazines plus a number of very good online only magazines...

The guy that owns Sailwind Quarterly is still floating around here on Sydneys northern beaches. A few years back I heard he was going to start it up again but no go. Maybe with the re-surgence of windsurfing somebody might get something happening even if its in the summer months.
