my eyes arent that good as they are last summer my eyes copped a beating from the sun and glare especially when sailing late arvo with the sun right at eye level and reflection off the water and a litre of salt water in your eyes its hard to see i havent looked into it much but was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for some funky wrap around 100% UV sunnies with the headband so they stay on while performing the splat gybe

Lava sunnies. They are the bomb and wont fall off. Most if not all windsurfing shops have them.
You could always buy $5 cancer council sunnies so its doesn't matter if you loose them

Just make sure you get polaroid sunnies. Normal sunnies won't cut down the glare off the water as much as polaroids.

Greenie,

I'm trying to think of something outrageously funny to respond with, but have come up blank, been working too hard, work is not good for the middleaged windsurfer, now that really stuffs your eyes up Aim for retirement by age 45, or you'll end up going blind like me, Although, Me's been told it's not all the work and windsurfing I have done in the past that has sent me blind but another extraneous activity that is too private and embarrassment to mention on this forum, I thought 3 times a day was normal, "stop that or you'll go blind", I was told, it's funny how you never listen to what's good for you till it's too late, maybe you got the same problem as me Greenie, and your tryin to fool everyone about the sunglasses and the sun and the salt water red herrings in the eyes stuff, c'mon mate, you need to own up to this stuff, I know how embarrassment this stuff is to talk about

Declare yourself Greenie

BTW, I use prescription sunglasses with a good wrap around your head device.

G'day Greenie,

I use Sentinel Polerizing Safety glasses.

I was using ye olde Poleriods but I had the schidt scared out of me after a hit which popped a lense out. A little bit oncerning.

The bueaty about safety glasses is they are designed to take a hit with the lenses very firmly held in place.

Polerizing does cut out the glare, It also allows you to see where the reef is in the water (allows for a less surprised splatt)

They are a wrap around style (not to daggy) have glued a strap on to keep them on the noggin during some of my more enthusiatic stunts (stacks).

Avaialble from Atom Supply in Welshpool (have to order in)
@ $50 (ouch)

I need to get into the habbit of wearing sunnies. in summer my eyes get screwed with the sun.
need to get into the habit though..
the lavas seem to fit my face well and stay on, but at the end of the day,, your eyes must be protected from the sun.

I think the racing guys aren't keen on polaroid lenses as they can't make out the LC displays of there start watches but apart from that it certainly would help reaching into the setting sun. Unfortunately I am pretty sure my head tilts ~45 degrees when sailing so the polarizing would only 1/2 work .

90% of the male population admit to masterbation.

9% are liars

The rest are in the Government.

Australasian Dive on Stirling Hwy Nedlands sell sunnies for about $30 that are perfect for windsurfing. They come with a strap that even a Scarbourough shorebreak cant remove and besides even if it did for that price who cares!!

not a defensive reply chad... i was just bringing the topic of masterbating out in the open as hardie was too embarressed to say the word so i emphisised it
in high school in health we were all discussing masterbation and one girl voiced her opinion "doesnt everyone do it?" only to be laughed at but also got offers from some of the boys to assist anyway this is a windsurfing forum... next topic
