I'm a Friggin Turkey, what can I say. I'm on the other side of the world. I still should have known.

I just wanted to make sure I don't get ANYONE in trouble once I get there and look what I started. You can count on me staying downwind

Turkey, you're not to blame for anything.
Unfortunately there are a few strange people with issues who have nothing better to do than to wait for a chance to stir some ****. Probably due to their lack of ability in anything else.

Welcome to OZ. Most of us are normal.

Hi Turkey.

There is one thing I would like to mention because it can be seen to be a WS/KB issue. When I was in Sydney I started Kiting where all the WS's were (I'm ambidextrous, WS and KB but I only KB in less than 20kts). I rigged up at the North end of Botany Bay with the WS's because I couldn't see any Kiters out. It was then pointed out to me that I wasn't allowed in that area because of the Airport. So I begrudgingly left, cursing WS/KB politics. The next day I rang the airport and sure enough they said Kiters have to stay 3km from the airport. On talking to some more locals I was told that if you stay south of the Brighton le sans Novotel you are sweet.

When I was there I got a ripper sunset session at Dolls Point when the sand bar was working. It was one of my most memorable sessions EVER (including Maui).

Yes, airports and kites are an issue around here to. There are so many more restrictions on kiters when it come to location. We are not allowed on ANY city beaches in summer. The windsurfers have fought the fight and now rule from May to Sept. Even now they have the clubhouse and hot showers. We've got
