but seriously ,if that is possible in my mood with two days to go before Maui,
I have a JP FSW and have also noticed a slight yellowing .
I don't think its a problem.
Battery acid can remove it.

A while back there was a post by somebody complaining about a bottom stain from river sailing.
Perhaps the river isn't the culprit after all, may just be the stuff jp sprays on the bottom of their boards. Think there were a lot of methods of getting rid of it, including lemon juice, coca-cola, and domestic stain remover. Don't think it's a big problem, but I'd stay away from battery acid!!!

I think it just comes naturally with the type of paint and salt water (my hypersonic is the same). CLR or toothpaste fixes it ok if you want it white, i'd just leave it.

if you've been sailing at the train, it's from Rock'n'Roll AL excretions and those aren't boost bars floating on the surface

unfort it happens to all boards as ithey come out of the same factory for the most part and use the same paint. though it is an enviromntal thing and comes from where you sail

Don't worry, I just bought a 2003 model, and once the yellow discolouration becomes consistent over the whole board you don't notice it anymore unless you park it next to a new one.

I've used jiff on my Maui Project a number of times to clean the yellow off it, never noticed a problem...

It happens to all of my boards whether sailing on a lake or in the sea (over time obviously). Not sure what causes it but it's annoying :P
