Yes we're very happy, thought we were gonna extend it today, but Huey didn't co-operate. We were up against the WSP Warriors today, and they took individual honours with Ricki posting a 28.9 our best was elmo with a 27.8. be interesting to check team averages against each other?

Well done to the Speed Divas, on their first post!!!!!!!!

Checking team averages against each other... what do you think would be a good way of doing this?

You mean a different format to the "Sessions" page?

I'm loving how the site is evolving as people start feeding in their times. And I'm always open to ideas on how to improve it!

It's a ripper site and a great effort considering it only took you a week or so to set up in your spare time.

Here are some ideas which may help (or be a pain in the freckle)

If you just have the best averages for the teams on one page That way it will save it being to cluttered.

I don't know if you would be able to hypalink from the summary page to the relevant session.

A search engine by competitor would also enable a person to follow their own personal results without having to open each team session.

In comments section, the return function is not valid so comments can be a bit jumbled

That's exactly the sort of feedback I'm after.
* Best averages page is easy to do, but the hard part is thinking of a descriptive name for it

* Hyperlink: Top idea, it's online now. Check out the rankings page.
* Personal results: This would put us in direct competition with GPS-SS. Is this the right way to do things? I guess it is, but there's politics involved.
* I've just fixed the return function in comments.

Thanks for the ideas, it's one thing when I think of a cool idea, and something else when someone articulates it for me. Thanks

A 30 was my goal, got it with my second go with new GPS. I don't know if I can get much more, one board & sail, and trying to do it in the ocean. Need to get to green on a low tide, and flat water

Great to see everyone giving it a go in not ideal conditions and getting new P.Bs.I love this whole gps comp idea.Ben wouldn,t worry about being in competition with gpsss,to me this is a local(Aus) comp and gpsss is a world one and both should be able to work of each other.I would encourage everyone to post their times to gpsss. Its not just for the pro,s

Right on Kato... and we are also encouraging everyone on a team to post their personal times on the need4speed list on the windwarrior site.
You could win yourself a brand spanking KA Koncept 6.5m in racing red just by logging your speeds !

Mineral - your speed is now posted on the need4speed database at WindWarrior
You feature on the need4speed page and currently have the easily identifiable position at the end of the GPS Full listing

We've now topped 60 individual speed listings and growing

Big congrats to Elmo for posting 15 speed sessions... we're sending out a WindWarrior Tour Member shirt for his efforts but given how much time he seems to spend on the water we're not sure how often he'll get to wear it

Big thumbs up to Laurie at Seabreeze for his continued efforts promoting GPS speed sailing and setting up this stand alone GPS forum

20 knots isn't bad for crappy conditions with stuff all wind
