yep no worries, can do.

burrum will be on again in march as per previous years.

paperwork has gone off to MSQ with the prelim dates of march 18th-21st 2011, don't book just yet but that's the official dates at this stage.

tides look good and arrangements are being made for the comp.

it is still early though.

i guess it's official now.

So, anything on in October in Queensland? Will be up around FNQ Mob area, mid October and wondering off down the Coast over the next two months to Melbourne. But October 2010, ???

you are always welcome to come along to a wanderers meet if the timing is right. around that time we will be hitting north kirra on tha gold coast and maybe even mooloolaba on the sunshine coast.

i'm not sure what your itinerary is but a couple of places worth checking on your way down are,

Burrum (works in the northerlies at that time of year)

There is also a place at Hervey Bay called Gattaga's Bay, though I'm sure I have not spelt that right, which is supposed to be really good. I've never been there, but the Hervey Bay crew used to rave about it.
Elliott Hds works well in a northerly out the front, not so good in the river, though a NW can be good on a higher tide. The sandbanks out the front are really good. There are a few rocks on a really low tide out in front of the beach.
