Anyone would think there hadn't been any wind lately

I started GPSTC 6 years ago, turned 55 and retired from work a year later, just turned 60 last week so basically can sail whenever there's enough wind.
I live at Noosa so most of my sailing is at Lake Weyba [8.5kms] from home and Lake Cootharaba [22.5kms] away. Both are sailable 270degrees from NW to SW with very little tide movement so depth stays pretty constant. Run lengths vary from 3-9 km depending on wind directions, wind strengths when we have it is usually 10-20 kts, not much windier than that to often so 7.0,7.8 & 8.6 mainly used.
We seme to get plenty of sailable days here, I normally manage to get in over 200 sessions a year, best month I had was Feb-2016 when we had a lot of good SE's. I sailed 23 out 29 days & clocked up 2,470 Kms.

MASSIVE EFFORT there Pete! Thanks for letting everyone know the ins n outs of achieveing truly amazing results. Mind boggling really.

I think that's more than I drive a year.
