Hi,

Has anybody used the GW52 with the GPS Freerace Program.
If yes, could somebody please tell me how I need to set up the GW52 to get it to work.

Thanks in advance.

I'm only guessing here, but I doubt your trouble is the GW52 setup, there's not a lot of options. About the only thing I can think of that that is confusing to older programs is the 5hz data, you could try setting it to 1hz.
Other than that I have no idea.

Freerace uses the same gps file engine as ka72.com, so there shouldn't be any difference between the data there and the data as uploaded to ka72.com

However, when configuring a freerace event, you need to ensure that you get the right start date/time for the event, as only the time window for the event is used. That's the most frequent issue I see with people getting to grips with it.

There are a number of videos on the ka72.com website that cover setting up and running a test event in the freerace software.

If you're talking about the KA72 FreeraceMaster, I ran an event last year at Sanctuary Point and had tracks from Tony with a GW52. He sent me his SBP file as I didn't have the locosys software installed on my laptop.

Worked fine although it took a lot longer to process due to the larger file size (4mb compared to everyone else's 1mb files from GT31).
