I saw this watch come up on Kogan and wanted to know if it would be any good for speed sailing. I havent done any speed sailing for a while but know there are issues with the way the watches / GSP's read the data. If this is compatible it may represent good value?

Depends what you mean by compatible?
It certainly isn't approved for the GPSTeamChallenge posting.

The specifications don't mention anything about GPS
So my guess is it's got a small phone type unit.
But may be OK as on the water feedback, if anybody's got one and can give comparisons with other units. It's probably no more than a knot or too out most of the time. But could be better.

I reckon it would be good tracking ones movements whilst out on a bender.
