I got myself a navi for christmas and got to use it yesterday. It was squally and about 15 to 30 knots, choppy onshore conditions with the gusts usually coinciding with heavy rain. I just wanted to see how fast I was on my normal gear so was on my F2 XTC 103 with a 6.4 KA Kult and the busted ass old stock fin. Nearly managed 30 knots! I was surprised. Thanks for the encouraging words fellas the bug has bitten for sure and already caused me to buy a more appropriate fin. We'll see how long it takes for the infection to spread to the rest of my kit!

Phil that sandbar sounds interesting, I'd definitely be in for some testing The mouth of Bakers Creek might be worth a look too, although the biteys like places like that.
