I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to geocach with a GT31. Seems like the co-ordinates are written differently!
(Got to do something when it's not windy)
Cheers Dave

I had trouble when we tried to find Grumpy's rock. The I was informed that google Earth uses a different protocol to the GT31. One of them is degrees, minutes and seconds. the other is degrees and decimals of degrees. Not that easy to convert from one to the other in your head either!

I have used it for geocaching before. It works if you change the settings a bit but there are many better ones out there...We have an Garmin etrex 30 and it is accurate and easy to use.
