There is a great forecast for this weekend so this Saturday (24th) we will be heading over to Sandy Point with the heli gathering some footage for a new video we are making and if anyone's interested we will be doing some one on one photoshoots as well so if you want some great photos or aerial video from the heli while blasting down the speed run at Sandy Point this is the day.
Time: from about 9.30am till 2pm.

Cost is $150 for aerial video and $150 for stills (approx. 50 images). Payable on the day.

We can only bring one load of fuel so spots are limited to only about 10-15 people. Contact us on infoatwindsurfaustraliadotcom or through seabreeze if you want a spot.

So annoyed i cant make it over, as i wanted to so bad. If it was any other Friday/weekend, i would have been there. If i come over to WA next year maybe then Should see if you can get to lake George, as that would be epic as too. Good luck with the forecast and hopefully col can get some great shots and video.

A fantastic experience today with Colin in the choper filming. He is so close it is a bit scary at first and on one gybe it seemed like I was right under him and got the backwash.
Awesome job mate and I would really encourage eveybody to take an oppertunity like this up if it comes around.
Can't wait to see the photos!!!

The price is very cheap obviously these people haven't ever got any family portraits done, I could line up 4 people for a shoot at Lake Bonney Col

I asked Col about LG. Answer: Nah, brown water. No good.

He did think that the flat water might make a nice texture with the sun reflecting off it though.

I can see one problem though. It may be very difficult to line up and go on demand to take turns for the chopper to follow.

Which made me think about a launching platform. A portable structure about three steps long and half a meter wide. Carry it out to about half a meter of water. Stand on it with your board next to it. Take two running steps and step on. Away we go.

Waddaya recon Tony?

90mm down pipe, a heap of junctions, a few elbows and a lot of glue.Maybe a sheet of ply for the deck. Next problem

great stuff Kato. Here they are:
1. How to stop it floating away?
2. How to stop it sinking too far into the mud?

Star pickets or similar, tech screws, cordless drill. Inflatable dinghy or punt to get out there. Job done in a few minutes flat. Oh and did I mention the call out fee.

Andrew us tradies need more complex promblems to solve

Only if the answers were this easy to improve my performance on the water
