The waiting game begins

This JP sponsered rider uses CA despite having JP speed boards.

www.gps-speedsurfing.com/default.aspx?mnu=user&val=40592&uid=2814
and www.gps-speedsurfing.com/?mnu=user&smnu=equipment&uid=2814

AB+ Obviously with an eye on the CA put in some V but made them a bit shorter.

The JP protos were in use well before Antoine joined JP/had any input so I imagine there would be little in common.

It will be interesting to see if they are similar to the *boards he had a hand in developing.

yer well jp dont make a 40 or a 44cm speed board yet do they?? that would probably explain why he was using the CA's in the nuclear winds with a 5.4 sail.

kimba can you make your link work please. i wanna read it!!

Hey Bertie I was supposed to fax you the rego form, but it's just as easy for you to download it from seabreeze, as thats what I have to do, have no spares currently to fax.

Bertie , you obviously didn't read the links I posted.

If you did you would see that Jaques has 3 2009 JP speedboards of the following sizes..

JP Speed 38 2009 Speedboard 38 x 229 cm 55 litres
JP Speed 42 2009 Speedboard 42 x 230 cm 60 litres
JP Speed 48 2009 Speedboard 48 x 230 cm 65 litres

So he had the appropriate sizes, he just preferred to use the CA40

Nah who is to say he just got the boards and hasnt used them yet.
who is to say they even exist! they arent on the JP website, and i havent even seen photos of them.
At any rate they arent production boards, just protos.

So Bertie if you haven't seen something, then it doesn't exist?

Well it is hard to argue with that sort of logic.

Maybe this will help:

JP: What about Speed – will you still continue to go for that?

AA: First of all JP will bring a full collection of speed boards which I developed for them. So, I will obviously go for the production speed record but I also would like to be the first windsurfer over 50knots. I think that it should be possible to break the 100km/h barrier on a windsurf board.

So Antoine says he developed the boards for them, maybe with his shaper in France who did the *board ones.

doesn't matter what speed board you use if you don't get the conditions they are useless.
