The December round of the KA Sail SA Summer of Speed will be held on Sunday 9th December at the Murray Mouth. Registration and briefing will be at 11am and close of sailing at 5pm with recording of GPS screen readouts by 5.15pm. This event is scheduled to be a 'slalom marathon', however we will wait to see the conditions on the day to determine the course. An image is attached of the likely slalom course - it's big! If you don't sail with a GPS, you are free to still participate in the event and enjoy the social aspect of the day and be in the running for the end of series prize draw. The one-off series entry fee is $40 and this covers competitor packs and boat expenses. You will also need to be a current member of Windsurfing SA or affiliate, and a link is provided here http://www.windsurfing.org/files/SA_MSHIP.pdf for the application form. Please bring correct money with you for both the entry fee and Windsurfing SA membership fee as change will not be available on the day. The current member list has not been updated by Windsurfing SA since the last event, but we have the records of who paid their membership at the last race day. South Central Coast:

Thursday until midnight : Wind: N 30/40 knots ahead of a NW/W change 25/35 knots crossing Kangaroo Island late this afternoon and throughout early evening. Isolated thunderstorms. Sea: 3 to 5 m. Swell: W/SW 1 to 2 m on exposed waters.
Friday : Wind: W/SW 20/30 knots easing to 10/15 knots early in the afternoon, becoming variable 5/10 knots during the evening. Sea: 2 to 3 m, easing to around 1 m early afternoon and below 1 m in the evening. W/SW 2 to 3 m on exposed waters.
Saturday : Wind: N/NW 5/15 knots turning NW/W 10/20 knots during the evening. Afternoon sea breezes 5/15 knots.
Sunday : Wind: W/SW 15/25 knots easing to a SW/S 10/20 knots by midday.

South Central Coast:
Saturday until midnight : Wind: NE/NW 5/10 knots, turning NW/W 10/15 knots during the morning, reaching 15/20 knots south of Kangaroo Island. Sea: 0.5 to 1.5 m. Swell: SW 2.5 to 3.5 m on exposed waters.
Sunday : Wind: NW 20/25 knots, shifting SW 20/30 knots during the morning, then easing to 15/20 knots by late afternoon. Sea: rising to 2 to 3 m, abating to 1 to 2 m by evening. Swell: SW 2 to 3 m.
Monday : Wind: SW 5/15 knots.
