Hi Wineman,

Here are 2 maps from google earth that will show you how to get to Queenslake Picnic Area where we sail from. Just put them together. I could not get them all on the the one page. The Lake works in SE, ENE, E , NE, ESE, SSE, SSW, SW, W, WNW. Other directions wont work.
Wine Man there are also 3 great Winerys in your area. Cassegrain , Longpoint & Bago.
Hope this helps

Thanks Mark.
It's the turn-off where the highway goes to (or from) dual carriageway.

Yet another scenic (windsurfing?? ) spot to check out as we cruise the coast with non-windsurfing wife[}:)]

Traveling north its the turnoff just after the road divides into a dual carriage way. You go over the Herons Creek bridge where the speed camera is and the turn off is a few hundred meters up the highway.

Traveling down Bob's Creek Road you are not sure where the turn off is or where the lake is. Basically from what I remember you go down the road and then cross a small bridge. After that you drive through some forests and there is a fork in the road. To get to the lake you make a right hand turn. After a few kms driving through the forest and taking another right fork you arrive at the lake. There is a small jetty there.

Don't tell anyone about it as its a very quiet and beautiful spot. We camped there a couple of months ago and it was just what you would imagine a lakeside camp should be. We don't want tons of people going there and spoiling it.

Just want to Congatulate Phil on his first post for the Marauders! & all the Pbs.

To Peter & Karl if you want a good place to stay and windsurf check out Phils Web site at www.sundownerholidays.com

You can see the great 9 km runs you can get in a NE wind from the Sundowner Tiona Tourist Park.
