Boggy lake is a pristine piece of lake side reserve. It has wonderful facilities with undercover parking and rig up area.

Its a farmers paddock in the middle of nowhere. We rigup in cow poo and have to stash our gear in the bushes to stop the cows walking on it. You need to bring a shovel and paper and go for a walk through the snake infested salt bush to find the "loo".
The water level is low at the momment but it was still pretty choppy yesterday and is certainly no sandy point. The best thing about boggy is that you can sail it on any direction and there is just about always wind. I just hope that we get some more water soon as I spent most of yesterday with my fin in the mud doing my best beached whale impersonation.
The competition format is great. We have some very quick sailors down here and are loving the tactics and closeness of the scoring. Well done Ben and Hardie.
Cheers,
