Interesting. As a ' featherweight' I tend to downhaul the crap out of my sails in case the wind comes up ( I need a whinch to get it down)..I might have to try a bit less.

With the video tips I suppose you could have more downhaul in flatwater than choppy as the board is more stable?
With what he is saying maybe I can use less downhaul and extension and then the boom would be lower ?Although if I'm overpowered I'd have less twist in the sail??
