Had a bit of a chuckle at his assessment that he was a bit of a light weight guy for speed sailing at 80KG!

But otherwise this is an excellent description of speed sailing. And I'd love to have something like the West Kirby marine lake to sail in. Without the almost sub zero temperatures of course!

I am impressed by how wonderfully observant this guy is.
In all my years of speedsailing I have never analysed what is happening so closely.
I guess that explains why I am not very fast.

Nice one. Enjoyed that. Thanks Daffy. I recall a similar experience when I got into speed sailing in 2008/9. Big Sunday 2009 was particularly formative for me.

That was definitely being thrown in at the deep end Ado. No comparison really!
