A devastating session in wild winds sees SRM steal the lead off MBM who've led most of JULY after Vando's and Pierre's brilliant Wello Point Sesh!

Check it:http://www.gpsteamchallenge.com/showsession.php?date=2007-07-30&team=10

I don't wanna take all the credit for the SRM efforts, but Maybe it was the advice that I gave slowboat: Hardie " Hey Slowboat Don't fall in!!", maybe we'll never know, but that tiny bit of psychological paradoxical therapy may have just been the difference between 39 and 41 knots??

PS I did try and eliminate him from the comp.... I was giving him a lift on the towball of my 4wd, and accellerated rapidly through the mudflats, violently swinging the steering, but the bastard hung on

I sailed in the same conditions and went on a suicide run just after he'd done that 41.7, and thought I would surely die and could only manage a 36, and when you speedsail you know how hard it is to get every tenth of a knot, so how does get 57 tenths of a knot on you

Fortunatly for me, I see him now and then at Lucky Bay. He sure is smooth on the water. Every time I see him (that’s when he isn’t going tooooo fast) I get just that little bit extra info like how he sets up, stance, hand positions on boom and so on. He probably doesn’t realize how much he helps
I only have to make up a paltry 17 knots to catch him

Only 36 and then he goes and does a shoulder high (board) chop hop at the end of the run
