Hey Folks,
I've been trying to update my old GT-11 but everytime I push the execute button in NaviFu I get an error saying it can't open Navi.Bin. I downloaded all the firmware stuff from Tom Chalko's site.
Please advise!

Kev, not sure where you are located.Long time ago with my GT-11, just a thought, the file isnt a ziped file is it?
PM decrepit he will help you out I am sure if you get stuck

Yeap I've tried re downloading the firmware from Tom Chalko's site to no luck. Still getting Unable to open Navi.Bin

Hey Kevin,
What firmware are you running on the GT-11?
There has not been an update for a really long time for this model.
The update procedure for the GT-31 uses a different approach and software.
If you are updating a GT-11 and not a GT-31 you need the original update software.
This did not involve changing the internal switch on the GPS unit.
I may have that on an old computer so PM me with your e-mail if that is what you are trying to do.
If you do have the original software make sure that you have selected the right COM port.
Sometimes you need to close the updater software and reopen it before selecting another port.

Just checked my old computer and the last firmware version I have is V1.62 B1115. The file is called NAVI_FW.S and was dated 20/11/2007
The software to update is NAViFU v1.1? not the GT31 Updater and I have a copy if you need it

PM! I am running firmware V1.5 (B0403). Been trying to update it with NaviFu 1.1
