Hey All, I'm new to tuttle stuff and I have a fin that fits flush at the back hole but its about 3mm high at the front. Whats the best fix for this. Thanks.

Tuttles are supported on the front and back sloping faces. Some times they bind on the sides. What you have to do is find the high spots and sand them down. If you run over the head with a light sanding then insert the fin as far as it will go and pull it out the high spots present as shiny. Just sand those and repeat until it fits.

also check that the tuttle box is deep enough to take the fin, sometime in small boards the fin box in the board can be a couple of mm shallow.this will stop the fin from sitting flush, maybe check first before sanding.

If you can get hold of a few fins, check to see that it is not the box that is a bit small or has an irregularity. If you have to modify five fins to fit the box they may not fit well in another board.

Thanks, looks like the front end of the box is a tad shallow, its my only tuttle board so will modify the fins. Don't think I'll stray from the powerbox's in the future
