Nice...

It's not really "all time" rankings though. It's rankings of those that have loaded data to the team challenge site/database, since the team challenge began... Yoyo's WA list is "all time" WA rankings, using all data available...

This is a great filter that I had not discovered before. Lets see ...... if I filter it for Vic and Grandmaster....... yep I like that!!!!

I recon if you build enough filters in we could all get in the top 10 for something....somewhere

Good work Ben! Much appreciated for sure!

That's the idea...

Thanks for all the encouragement, it's great having so many users all offering ideas and feedback. In the end if it makes people sail more often, then it's a success

Ours is predominantly just for fun, to have these rankings just gives everyone an opportunity to get more enjoyment out of being in the challenge. There are a few things that make this possible, 1 we have 194 windsurfers in the comp, 2 we have a great database, and 3 we got Nebbs, so why not. But it's not meant to be an official anything. There are some very fast sailors who aren't registered for various reasons, it's not sanctioned in any way, so not meant to be an official ranking of speed for aust or the states.

NB. It's all done for free, no-one makes any money out of it, in fact Ben and I lose money, coz we not only put our own money into it, we also spend a lot of time on it, trying to make it better and more fun for everyone. Whatever it turns into in the future, it can't lose the elements that make it fun now!!!!!!!!! I want it to be more inclusive, with more kids, women, and families participating.

All the pro's and serious dudes have enough accolades and recognition in the challenge, and what they do in serios sanctioned competitions. I'd say the Challenge is more like fun training for the pro's and serious dudes. The top 5 to 10 teams probably go at it fairdinkum, but the rest while all probably trying hard and enjoying being in the comp, don't take it very seriously, it's just for fun. And we must never lose this element of it.

I must say I am extremely flattered and pleased to be 5th in Australia overall in the open (18-34) category, particularly considering I am 37!

sounds like your team captain forgot your age when he registered you, or else your 7s look like 4s on your registration form

You mean it wasn't because you saw me and thought I couldn't possibly be any more than 18-34?!

Thankyou anyway. Sadly it seems the "masters" is just as competitive as the open so no improvement in the rankings there!
