I was looking at the old Naughty Mile table from Tomski and thought if anyone would be interested in running a Nautical Mile challenge next season?
The format for the challenge would be based over 6 venues on certain dates ie. Everyone attending a certain venue to compete on the given day.
Locations could be: Fangland; Liptons; Safety Bay; Lilacs; Leighton and the River.
Scoring would be taken over all six venues with the Max Nm speed of the day being totaled up.
At the end the Total is then divided by the six rounds (x)
Nm Max speed of the season minus x will give you your overall score. Max Speed – (T/6)

Attending each venue and being consistent over the 6 venues will ultimately end in a lower points count and doesn’t necessarily favor the fastest sailors out there.
