Hi Guys,

The Holfuy weather station on Lake Illawarra is in the process of getting upgraded to enabled a switch from the soon-to-be turned-off 3G mobile network to the 4G/5G network. During this upgrade process the weather station data is unavailable.

Cheers,

I finally got the weather station working again! A new electronics board has been installed with a 4G/5G modem. It turns out that the modem is not compatible with the Optus network, so the existing SIM card would not work. Now on the Telstra network and all seems good.

NOTE: The weather station is currently at my house waiting to co-ordinate with the maritime contractor for re-installation on the lake. The current readings DO NOT represent the conditions on the lake!!

Also note that this new board from Holfuy does not support a camera input. We are looking at alternate time lapse remote cameras to regain this functionality.

The upgraded weather station has been reinstalled on the lake this morning by the maritime contractor, Solartech.
As stated above the photo streaming is not available at the moment.
