Boom re gripping on GC anyone?

If there is anyone on Gold Coast to perform boom re griping , and how much it is worth ?

I did watch few video and try myself but effect is always far away from satisfactory.

i regripped booms for 20 years, no joke! come to surf fx and we'll talk about the least rewarding job on the planet!

bloody hard work, make sure its worth the effort!(its a good boom)you can by a "kit" see Surf fx

just for the excercise I would get Greeny to do it, word is he hasnt actually worked in years! Im thinking of ordering a handmade glass board, Ian?

I've done it twice. The first one had an average result and the second (after few advices from people) just came perfect. It is not that hard but just time consuming to clean the tubes from the old grip...

What Vando said..If you're paying someone to do it the cost of labour plus materials is close to the cost of a new boom. If you do it yourself its a bastard of a job and very difficult to get right.
