Hi all,

Without meaning to advertise I can recommend a fab new place to stay in Burrum heads http://www.riverviewretreatburrum.com.au/

Not cheap but if you want a special treat, and take your dog, and rig and sail from the end of the garden, and tuck in to a fab home cooked meal in the evening then this is it.

Hey Kirgo.

was that you paddling up the river everyday with 3-4 dogs on your sup? that put a big smile on my face.

Hi Gestalt, yes it probably was! Glad it made you smile- I was having to concentrate so hard I couldn't really look up!

We were having S-U-P-with-dog-on-board lessons

That's a good heads up.
I had not been able to find a dog-friendly place at Burrum.
There is a nice cottage Elliott Hds we have stayed at a couple of times though called Lazy Days. It's presently for sale for a motza, and we are hoping it stays dog-friendly holiday rental.

Hey Ken I think Elliot Heads real estate has inflated with mining money via Bundaberg. Apparently real estate in Burrum Heads has flattened out, would be a relaxing place to live but a bit out the way.

Elliott Hds is pretty torpid too.
We had a good look at some places on our recent trip, but decided we don't want to move back there.
Cairns, OTOH, is really appealing to me at present. Hotter, but a great variety of activities and good work for me.
