Ha Ha Benny
Not with that rotten tide ripping out into big sucky dumpers
The guy in the photo ( another Ben) just made it back in with a busted uni
Great fun anyway - even for prehistoric relics like me !!
Hey, by the way I emailed Bob in Cairns to see if the Green Island thingy was on and when - Is it the same time you are there in June?
Would be good to catch up with all at the same time

Left more pics on the Photos area

Hey Haircut
Just a bit more south would have done it - my tack
Memories of last years tragedy at the bar has kept me very painfully nervously cautious on a runout tide at the bar
The dumping break out the back yesterday and the day before was awesome - no-one ( except maybe Troppo - whose nads are famously bigger than his brains) would venture out there

yeah mate thats when im planning on heading back I think around the 20th from memory and hopefully for about 3 weeks.

I remember a honker of a day there probably in 2004 with a similar set up. cyclone gone south. was unreal, but you are right its damned near impossible to get out the back.
