UMM yeah . Thats why I pay someone now to keep things covered. Anyway its only like today about 6 days a year.

Yep X-ply is easy to replace but you may not be able to get the spectra x-ply that Ezzy uses.

is it cause you are letting go of the boom? once you've initiated it, the trick is to never let go until you've landed (whatever position that may be), especially with the back hand

Ha, I have loaned my van to my wife to go to Sydeny for a horse show, so I'll either be sailing down-wind fm Casuarina to get there, or bludging a lift off someone.
The forecast looks promising at this point, but with a clonic in the works, it will change a thousand times between now and then.

Cool footage Swoosh. What ever you are doing I do it as well and always end up with a bruised back from the heavy slap back into the water.

What can we say, why drive , well Saturday was just one of those days out at the bin, at times there were about 15 of us having fun on logo high waves, the boys were looping and getting some massive air off the big wide sets.
It was really safe with a channel between the two banks.
The wide bank was firing all day, and the better clean faces were peeling off from outside the rock.
It was a great sight pulling up to the bin to see windsurfers scattered all over the breaks.
Good to see the brisy crew coming down to join in on the fun.
The forecast is looking good for the rest of the week with the wind and waves peaking on Saturday.

Swell on the increase and SE wind.
Fun

Was mellow this arvo but will intestify quickly now.
At least the wind was in, if a little light.
Sailed till nearly 4pm and it seemed the sets were building, maybe just the tide.
If there is wind we should have fun no matter what the swell is doing as the period will be long.
Probably only a few hardy souls who are wishing it to get to ten foot on windsurfing kit.
This may be one of those moments in life where you have to have a go. Half the thrill is just surviving it. Damn I wish I hadn't worked so much now.
Wish I had done that training program I imagined....
At least Currumbin washes you up on Palmy if you blow it.
