Signed. I've been awake since 4:15 because that's when the dawn chorus wakes the baby. Every d@mn morning. 5:15 would be much more civilised.

maybe a pic helps explain!

of course if we swapped it to 4.30 Am then we'd simply have the opposite light in images...except there wont be anyone out and about in Brisbane at 4.30AM!

I rest my case your honour

I love the idea! I remember when they had the trial of daylight saving between 89 and 92, we were living on Thursday Island and obsessed with sailboarding. It was excellent. Used to finish work at 4, go home and have a cuppa with the wife, drive the old rusty Holden about 80 metres down the road to the beach and rig up and sail with some mates for an hour or so. Walk back home, swap kidsitting duties and the wife would walk down and sail for an hour or so. I'd go back and still be sailing at about 7:45pm. Absolutely brilliant. Wish we had it now. I hate the sunlight at 4:30am.

Signed. Grew up in Vic. Could never understand why the banana benders didn't have it. Then I moved here. Still don't understand...
