As long as the anchor holds whilst i'm surfing it all good. Should be ok, I might give it a go before the season ends. Thinking of sailing a westerly at Tangalooma in winter to, just for something different.
yeah it's pretty ordinary over there in a westerly. Good idea to take the Micat and camp. I've been there in 40+ knot southerly before and it was hard work.
..If you want to sail a westerly there catch the MiCat Barge and camp there.
