Help needed port Douglas

I have been sailing up at port Douglas, flying back to Melbourne Friday BUT dam two piece mast has got stuck and i desperately need someone with a boom with and rdm shimmy to help. If anyone knows of a sailor up this way please PM me.

Try tying the upper half to a tree using some rope and using your boom clamp on the lower end. You have to lash it quite tightly. Not tight enough to crack it tho!!!!

Also try hitting softly with a rubber mallet to dislodge any sand. Vinegar can sometimes be good but really only helps to dissolve any salt dried inside.
