No wind...More no wind...I'm thinking about getting an inflatable windsuper so I can sail and sup off my boat out in
the bay as well as out of the harbour. So far I like the Naish crossover air 11.....opinions welcome.

Hi. Richie, if you have room for a solid sup to be strapped to the rails of your boat.you'd find it much better than an inflatable. Most inflatable sups are 6 inches thick. And are a struggle to paddle in the lightest of head winds.never sailed one .but have sailed fanatics and bics. Both are fun and better than I expected. Bics are indestructible.

What about a Phantom 295 for your boat. Strong construction similar dimensions to a paddle board being 72 wide and with a volume of 217. Also the kind of board that you can sail in nearly any wind. You don't want to be caught downwind in strong breeze trying to get upwind on an inflatable.

Does it have to be inflatable? Any old windsuper would be good from the boat. A phantom 295 would be good too. I paddle my phantom every now and then.

So what is your decision Richie. Interested, as it has always been a bit of a dream to live on a sailing cat, cruising around the barrier reef and anchoring in the middle of lagoons etc. I always thought of having two boards, about a 110 litre and something like the phantom or Bic 293 that you could paddle board on, teach on, and explore on.

Haven't bought anything yet but I'm liking the Naish 11 crossover. Inflatable SUP with mast base attatchment.
