Good question.
The water is cold enough. Depends on how warm the sun gets I suppose.
Anything is possible.
Could I have 2 great SE sails and a beaut NE in one week in August ?

Swicth, if you are up this way, just go to Queens, best place in a NE. Dont usually sail at SG, tide goes waaaay out and kiters every where !

wishful thinking or what???

way too cold for a seabreeze, and we don't really get many black NE'rs up here like they do on occasion in Sydney... even then they are usually a summer a thing.

nup, rain and lots of time spent entertaining the little bloke today.

There was a nice 12 to 15 knot Noreaster at Mooloolaba in the afternoon. A bit of light rain but a great sail all the same.

Did you sail in the ocean or on the river? Just curious have never sailed there.

Out in the ocean - Go to the Mooloolaba Spit carpark at the end of Parkyn Parade. I usually use a slalom or freeride board to about 16 knots then when it gets rough use wave board. Great place in NE as long as you don't mind deep water.
