Camping for a few nights at Burrum. Forecast is for a reasonable S/SW for Thursday and Friday and I’m hoping to get a sail before we head back to the frozen wastelands called Victoria.
Anything I should know about the tides, or anything else, before I head out? I saw how fast the tidal stream tears out the other day, and I can see to keep the red lateral marks landside. High tomorrow is 10:09am, low at 4:25pm according to WillyWeather.
I only have freewave gear so won’t be super-powered-up or posting anything worthwhile to GPSTC.

Hi Mikey, Thursday I suggest launching around 1pm.
NOTE you want to be out of the water again by 4pm as the wind can drop out around then.
If you plan to head out to the end markers start heading back in no later than 3pm.
I am in town for a few days from tomorrow and plan to sail (windfoil) launching about 1pm ish, I will be heading straight out to end markers, (about 2km from the boat ramp launch)
Hope to see you on the water 😎
