Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy, prosperous (and windy) New Year.

It's already been a great start to the season with a number of great events by all of the clubs. Thanks to all of the organisers for the continued effort and to all of the participants for rewarding their hard work by turning up and taking part.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the season and hope to catch you on the water some time.

I'm staying on South Straddie from 31st to the 2nd, just across from Shearwater, are you available for a cruise on the raceboards round the broadwater during that time? I've sent you a PM. I saw a severe sail out on a longboard at south currigee on Wednesday, was this you John340? There were some great places to stay but they all look pretty protected from anything with east in it. Apparently you can cross the island easily there and sail on the ocean side. Would be keen to give that a shot at some point.
