Sailed Queens on Thursday afternoon (wet and gusty and spent more time in the water than on the board), then backed up at Woody Point yesterday afternoon, the sw wasn't that good by the time I got there.
Also saw a shark probably between 1 to 1.5 meters get completely out of the water close to shore between Queens and southern end Scarborough beach.
Have bought a cheap action cam (for the kids when mountain biking), it also works for windsurfing so will try to upload some footage. If it manages to end up here, beware its not very professional.
now who was saying i needed to learn to edit?.about time you took some video proof that you can sail.
Maybe a first for Queens, windfoiling.
Wish I had come down and watched you sailing
One of Peter Nitschke's boards, an old one but at 120 ltrs it fits the requirements. I only have a kitesurf foil hence the requirement for tracks further up. Still refining the setup, was out on the 5.8 in about 13-15 knots but should better this once more proficient. Definitely opens up lighter wind options and a new challenge.
Maybe a first for Queens, windfoiling.
Definitely a first for Queens.
