Some arriving today April 2. Staying at Boreen pt. Elander Point camp ground may re-open today, jus waiting on their Facebook page to say whether or they can open. We got our power back late yesterday. Elander Pt lost power, water, etc plus trees down, which is where a lot of Windsurfers Camp & Sail from.
Enjoy your sail.

Thanks for posting that about Elanda.

Do you know if there is a lot of debris in the Lake?

Lake is a bit dirty but it didn't sound like it had debris. Hopefully thumbs up by Mon 3rd.

We jus spoke to the owner of Elander Point & there is no power, which means no running water, expecting it on tonight, Sun April 2nd.

It would be wise for those wanting to camp at Elander to either check their Facebook page or phone park directly before leaving home.

Our power was restored late yesterday, Noosa area, but the 'estimated time' for reconnection had changed 3 times over a two day period. Energex is under the pump.

One of the downsides with the power failures is that a number of sewerage treatment pumps have not been operating. Unity Water are saying that the consequence is that the excess stormwater has caused overflows of untreated water entering some waterways.
