Looks like the monsoon trough is firing up in the next few days

Its been real quiet all season. Early next week has a low on watch. Even of we don't get winds in seq the surf will be good

May be time to dust off your small gear in anticipation.

Might get to finally try beachies.

If it was windy enough for me to use a 4.2 , I'd be watching from the beach.
115 kg x 4.2 = way too much wind.

Once or twice a year we get 40-50 knot days so some of us have some small gear tucked away just in case.

I wish we had more high wind days. When it's nuclear a lot of the wave guys come sail bump and jump so there can be a good number of people on the water.

Adam and John have both been down there earlier Imax and they gave it a miss, I stayed at home with the cat and the coffee machine, tomorrow is hopefully looking a bit more "settled"

I gave my 3.8 a run this arvo at Wello. It felt about right/good enough most of the time.
A couple of others were out on 4.2s

A couple of photos from lake weyba on Tuesday the yellow sail was 5m. It was to windy for me to do anything but be over powered.
