Got out at Manly today around noon and was well over cooked on an 8.8, an 8.0 would have been perfect. Water was crystal clear and not too cold at all. Lucky I took the punt as nothing was showing on any of the wind sites.
I was at Wello today... Went out on The Formula with 10.0 first - sailed up tp Peel and Cleaveland and back - 1hr return trip with 15kn average.. Then changed to my "new"Isonic 117 with a old 6.6 - had a good blast for about 45 mins then came in and wind dropped off...
