I recon the tip of Moreton would fire with a bit of NE in the swell and a hammering SE breeze. Just like this weekends forecast!!!!!!!!

If we could rustle together troupe with a couple jet ski's and pilots it could be on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jumpinpin bar at the south end of North Straddie is good on a nor easter. You do need a 4wd to access and its pretty remote so be careful with the tides and safety.

You can sail Cylinder beach as well but it would need pretty specific conditions I think to work.

Never tried Moreton but I have looked at the northern tip on google maps a lot of times!

I have sailed Main Beach in a SE but it is just a big scary beach break, if really big and windy Flinder's beach works for a bit of fun but I would not plan a trip on it . The wind makes it quite smoothly over the Island and you can drive along the beach until you find side/cross shore wind, wave size just depends on conditions but it would be out of control on the East beaches.
